Xiaomi in their release event on the 28th of June, released not only the Mi TV 6 as promised but also another smart family TV, the Mi TV ES 2022. Xiaomi released their much anticipated Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition which is a high-end flagship killer.
Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition
The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition will feature a 55″/65″/75″ 4K QLED screen that will have support for 97% DCI-P3 color gamut. It calibrates the primary screen color one by one, reduces color discrepancies in different scenes, it has 6-level color temperature adjustment, Delta E 1.5, comparable to the standard of professional monitors as such. It is also equipped with MediaTek MTK 9950 image quality enhanced chip which supports hardware-level super-division technology.
The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition comes with 100W audio, it has even passed the FreeSync Premium game smart display certification for the first time, which means that AMD’s graphics card and APU can be directly and dynamically Ground control the refresh rate of the connected Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition will come with a brightness of 1200 nits. The cherry on the top is its 48MP Dual camera which will be compatible with multiple apps, the list of which has not yet been released.
The 55″ variant of the Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition is priced at Yuan 5999(68,930 INR), the 65″ variant at Yuan 7999(91,910 INR), and the 75″ variant at Yuan 9999(114,900 INR).
Xiaomi Mi TV ES 2022
Xiaomi released the Mi TV ES 2022 with the aim to make it the perfect flagship designed for young users. It will be benchmarked against Sony’s X80J LCD TV. The peak brightness is nearly double that of TVs at the same price. It will support a partitioned backlight. Their 55″/65″/75″ Mi TV ES 2022 models use 32, 45 and 60 backlight zones respectively.
With a peak brightness of 700nit and the typical brightness bumped up to 400nits and sharp shadow light control technology, the picture contrast can be effectively improved. The Mi TV ES 2022 uses a new generation MediaTek 9638 processor, built-in four Cortex-A55 cores, Mali-G52 MC1 image processing unit.
This chip has powerful AI computing power, equipped with super-resolution algorithms, it analyzes the picture in real-time, effectively reduced noise, greatly improves the definition and the low-resolution film sources aid in achieving ultra-high-definition playback close to 4K.
The Mi TV ES 2022 has a 97% screen-to-body ratio and will come with an all-metal frame, stunning drawing technology, and a metal base with a balanced structure.
The Mi TV ES 2022 will be released from Yuan 3399(39,059) for the 55″ version, Yuan 4399(50,551) for the 65″ version, and Yuan 5999(68,934) for the 75″ version.
