Interestingly, New Zealand bowler Tim Southee has 75 sixes in 79 matches, and he is ahead of Ricky Ponting’s 73 sixes in Tests. Sachin Tendulkar has 69 sixes in 200 matches.

Southee can, in fact, surpass MS Dhoni too in the coming days. He is just 3 big hits away from equalling Dhoni’s 78 sixes. Tim Southee now ranks 15th in the list of most sixes by a batsman in Test matches. It is a huge record for a bowler.
