Samsung all set to release flat Odyssey Gaming monitors

Samsung announced the arrival of its Odyssey G series gaming monitors, while the latest monitor line will mainly target the Sony PS5 and Xbox Series X|S users.

The new Odyssey G7 is one of the latest 4K monitors which supports the HDMI 2.1 with 4K resolution at a refresh rate of 120 Hz in general and a refresh rate of 144 Hz when connected to PC with DisplayPort.

It also provides AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync along IPS technology and gives a lighting fast response time of 1 ms response time and a solid HDR 400 rating.

The next model down this line is the Odyssey G5 comes with a 27-inch display, and IPS panel and lightning quick 1 ms response time with a refresh rate upto 165 Hz when used with DisplayPort.

It has a crystal clear 1440 pixel resolution (2560×1440) and also comes with AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvida G-Sync support. Further along it also has 350 nits of brightness which is enough to boast a HDR10 rating.

Further moving on to the next and last variant of the Odyssey G-series, the G3 (G24AG30), the model utilizes the VA technology and offers a wide angle view of 178 degrees.

It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium and has a refresh rate of upto 144 Hz with DisplayPort. It also has a 27 inch display option with a resolution of 1080 pixels (1920×1080)
