Visionox to feature second-gen under-display camera prototype

ZTE is another smartphone maker that is looking to release a device with an under-display camera later on this year, ZTE debuted its first commercially available smartphone with the new tech on its Axon 20 5G.

Now, ZTE is looking to release the next Axon variant with a second-gen, under-display camera. In a post on the company’s Weibo handle, they had mentioned certain features of the camera.

According to that post, the pixel density above the UD camera has been increased by two times and now reaches 400ppi making for a more consistent appearance of the panel.

In addition to that, the panel will now support a 120Hz refresh rate, up from the Axon 20s 90Hz.

In the most recent post of the brand, they flaunt their Visionox InV see Pro display which aids in achieving better clarity and less fogging on the embedded selfie camera.

Tipster Digital Chat Station shared that ZTE is prepping to launch their second-gen UD camera phone soon. More details regarding the device will emerge in the coming weeks. Hopefully, the device provides an improved camera performance.
