Leica Leitz Phone 1 launched in Japan: Price and specifications

Leica has launched its Leica Leitz Phone 1 smartphone in Japan with some extraordinary specifications. So, let’s go and check out the specs, features, and pricing of the newly launched device.

The Leica Leitz Phone 1 runs on Android 11 OS and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Coming to the display, this phone offers a 6.6-inch (2730x1260p) IGZO OLED panel supported by a faster refresh rate of 120Hz. This phone supports Dual fingerprint recognition at the same time.

The Snapdragon 888 SoC of this phone is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Coming to the camera section, this phone offers a single rear camera setup of 20.2MP with an LED flash and ToF. For selfies, this phone offers a 12.6MP selfie snapper at the front. This phone has Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max support.

The Leica Leitz Phone 1 is fueled up by a 5,000mAH battery. This phone has the certification of IPX5/X8 for water resistance and IPX6 certification for dust resistance. In terms of connectivity, this phone has everything including NFC. This phone has a thickness of 9.5mm and it weighs around 212 grams.

Coming to its pricing, the Leica Leitz Phone 1 carries a price tag of YEN 187,920 ($1,700/₹1,25,408) for its sole 12GB/256GB option.
