Despite this season’s IPL coming to a halt in between there have been some mind boggling performances from some players earning them their long awaited India debut.

The India team is all set to tour Sri Lanka for 3-One Day Internationals and 3- T-20 internationals. Five of the players who are set to make debut for India on the basis of their IPL performance are:

1) Devdutt Padikkal: The left handed opening batsman from Karnataka who certainly impressed everyone with his performances in the Indian Premier League is now about to debut for India.

In his 2 seasons for Royal Challengers Bangalore he has played in 21 matches and have managed to score an impressive 668 runs for his team. In the process of amassing these runs he has scored 5 fifties and 1 century in the process. In his current season in IPL 2021 he has scored 195 runs in 6 matches until now. He’ll certainly be the one SL will be looking out for.
