Realme GT Performance Flagship and Camera Flagship will come out in June and July respectively

Realme earlier in 2021 revealed that it will be splitting its flagship phones into two different lines, a performance-centric Realme GT and a Camera-centric Realme GT.

The performance model has already launched in China as the Realme GT and has two sister variants, the Realme GT Neo and Realme GT Neo Flash edition. Today the brand has announced the launch dates for the devices.

Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth revealed that the Realme GT 5G performance flagship will be announced globally in June while the Realme GT camera flagship will follow in July.

Realme has adopted a different approach in comparison to its other competitors who usually release Pro or upgraded variants of their flagships with enhanced cameras.

They have separated the performance and camera versions so that they can reduce the cost to the user while catering to their most prioritized needs.

The Realme GT Performance 5G will roll out with a 6.43″ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor. It comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage.

It features a 64MP+8MP+2MP triple camera setup on the back with a 16MP sensor in the front. The phone packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging and has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
