Airtel steps up in this Covid crisis

In this emerging crisis Bharti Airtel is offering Covid emergency services such as medicines, oxygen, plasma and other essentials.

Bharti Airtel is now offering emergency Covid services on the Airtel Thanks app to users to help them get medical essentials such as medicines, oxygen, plasma, etc. They are also providing help to book vaccination slots.

The option for availing these services can be found in the explore section by clicking on the “COVID SOS” option. The above mentioned option when opted displays all the contacts of verified supplies provider for essentials like oxygen, plasma donors, ambulance, hospital beds and testing centers.

This platform is powered by Airtel IQ. It also provides support for booking vaccination slots.

In a statement an Airtel official stated “With the Cowin platform APIs integrated with Airtel Thanks app, information on nearest vaccination centres and available slots is updated on real time basis.”

Users need to download the Airtel Thanks app and follow the above mentioned steps to use the Covid Emergency service.

Bharti Airtel is also set to provide a free Covid helpline service within two minutes for users of all capabilities with Airtel IQ. It is a cloud communication platform.

The tagline for the above mentioned announcement stated “Airtel is giving 5000 minutes with each Helpline account so that businesses can stay connected with their employees and organize their efforts.”
