Apart from announcing its flagship ROG Zephyrus S17 and Zephyrus M16 laptops with Intel’s latest Tiger Lake-H gaming processors, ASUS has also kept something for budget gamers. ASUS has redesigned these TUF Gaming F15 and F17 laptops with a new look similar to the TUF Dash F15.
These laptops feature both Intel and NVIDIA combo for best gaming performance; you can configure the laptop up to Intel Core i9-11900H processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics. As confirmed by ASUS, you will also have the new RTX 3050 series laptop GPU options as well.
You can pair with up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory and 1TB of NVMe SSD storage; also, you have a second slot for adding more SSD storage. Coming to the display, while the Asus TUF Gaming F17 packs a 17.3-inch screen that refreshes at 144Hz, the Asus TUF Gaming F15 with a 15.6-inch display can refresh up to 240Hz.
Both of these panels are very colour accurate as they cover 100% of the sRGB spectrum. Also, the choice for going up to an RTX 3060 means you can expect more frames per second as the 90W variant of the GPU will be used here; however, you can expect the GPU to crank up over 240 frames per second in modern triple-A games.
The new ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and F17 gaming laptops are juiced by a 90Wh battery, which should you give a good battery life throughout the day. Now, having Intel CPU means you have a Thunderbolt 4.0 port that can output from 4K 60 FPS video to two monitors or 8K content to a single display.
Other ports include three USB Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.0b port, and for connectivity, you obviously have the Wi-Fi 6 support by Intel.
