Intel’s 11th Gen Core Tiger Lake-H gaming processors specs leaked

Even before the official launch of 11th May, Intel’s upcoming high-performance gaming processors based on their latest 10nm process have been totally leaked by HD-Tecnologia.

It has all the details, including slides that show the new CPUs with up to 8 cores; previously, Intel only launched the Tiger Lake-H35 series processors at CES 2021. Based on the same architecture, Intel’s latest beefier gaming CPUs will power a wide range of notebooks in the coming days.

The slides leaked also confirm the fact that the exact embargo date will lift on May 11th, 2021, at 4 AM Pacific Time. Already, notebook makers like ASUS and MSI are ready to launch their laptops based on these latest processors after May 11th.

Based on 10nm SuperFin transistors and Willow Cove compute cores, these new Tiger Lake-H chips also support PCI Express Gen4. Even AMD’s AMD Cezanne-H processors also lack the feature, while Intel’s new mobile gaming CPUs come with up to 20 PCIe Gen4 and up to 44 PCIe platform lanes.

The best-of-the-best of the flagship 8-core chip will be the Intel Core i9-11980HK, which is the only unlocked Tiger Lake-H processors. This SKU will provide boost clocks with two cores going up to 5.0 GHz; for 4 cores, it’s 4.9 GHz, for 6 cores, it is 4.7 GHz, and for all 8 cores, the boost clock speed is 4.5 GHz.

The leaked data seems officially there are three 8-core and 16-thread parts coming, i.e. Core i9-11980HK, Core i9-11900H and Core i7-11800H. However, this might not be the full list as we have already seen the presence of a Core i9-11950H that seemed slower than the Ryzen 7 5800H.

The list also features only two 6-core and 12-thread Core i5 options, i.e. Core i5-11400H and Core i5-11260H, offering boost clocks up to 4.5 GHz. However, as Videocardz rightfully points out, there is no Core i5-11600H on the list that also showed up in the leaks.
