In the previous few days, it has surfaced that Motorola‘s new brand, the Motorola Edge smartphone series is codenamed Sierra, Berlin, Berlin NA, and Kyoto. Few reports online suggested the camera specs of the Kyoto model. Now it seems like the camera specifications of the Berlin model have been leaked and collected by a few publications.
According to the report, the front-facing camera of the Berlin and Berlina NA smartphones will be flaunting a 32-megapixel OmniVision OV32B40. At the same time, both the handsets will be sporting a stunning 108 MP triple rear camera module.
The Kyoto handset offers the main camera of a 108 MP Samsung S4KHM2 lens. It will be supported with an 8 MP Samsung S5K4H7 ultrawide lens and a 2 MP OmniVision OV02B1B. Though it is still unclear, one can expect a 16 MP OV16A1Q or a 32 MP OV32B front-facing sensor. Kyoto could be the Lite model whereas the Edge Berlin and Sierra could be successor editions of 2020’s Motorola Edge and Edge+
The Berlin models sport a 108 MP primary camera with a 16 MP OmniVision OV16A10 ultrawide camera and an 8 MP OmniVision OV08A10 depth sensor. The Berlin NA handset will have a similar 108 MP S5KHM2 main camera, an 8 MP Samsung S5K4H7 ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP OmniVision OV02B1B depth assist lens. Thus, the only handset of which camera specs are still unknown is the Sierra model. The other details of all these devices are still unknown.
Last year, Motorola unveiled Edge and Edge+ which flaunted a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ display. Both of them feature a 25 MP front snapper. The former was powered by the Snapdragon 765Gv mobile chipset whereas the latter was powered by the Snapdragon 865 mobile processor. The Motorola Edge smartphone was packed with a 4,500 mAh battery cell as compared to Edge+ 5,000 mAh battery unit. Both of these batteries were paired with an 18W fast charging support.
