Bhardwaj duo in alliance with Berkeley has launched global think tank named ‘Open Innovation Lotus Foundation’

OILF to engage with Government, corporate, policy makers and universities to collaborate 

New Delhi, 27 April 2021: Yashraj Bhardwaj &Yuvraj Bhardwaj, a 21 year old researchers, ideators and entrepreneurs and promoters of Petonic Infotech which is a professionally managed, fast growing mid-sized Indian consultancy company has recently launched ‘Open Innovation Lotus Foundation’ (OILF), a non-profit research platform. This has been launched in alliance with Berkeley Haas.  OILF with its alliance with NITI Aayog and University of California, Berkeley; is to translate research from UC Berkeley and support the government in “Rebuilding India Initiative’ and aim to establish India as a manufacturing hub on par with China, establish Digital Education to accelerate learning amongst school and college students and build last-mile connectivity to bring entire rural masses online. 

Open Innovation Lotus Foundation’ (OILF) has built a common platform which is engaging with the Government,  Policy Makers, Enterprises & Universities to formulate collaborative activities across industries to move India forward. The Foundation is led by a  team of experts and advisory body includes people like Yuvraj Bhardwaj, Chief Executive Officer, PetonicInfotech; Solomon Darwin – Executive Director, Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley ‘Father of Smart Village Movement’. It also has representation from corporate enterprises who are members of Berkeley Innovation Forum India (Firms like Microsoft, Ericsson, Salesforce, etc.) 

Speaking on this occasion, Yuvraj Bhardwaj, Chief Executive Officer, PetonicInfotech said – “It gives me immense pride to work with NITI Aayog and University of California, Berkeley and provide a unified platform to entire stake holders. With the government’s focus on Atmanirbhar Bharat, there is urgent need to formulate policies with equal partnership with government, corporate enterprises, and universities. We need to explore more public-private initiatives for India to grow further.”

OILF is working towards building technology in manufacturing, engagement with academic institutions, facilitating legislation; importance of sustainability particularly within the manufacturing and energy sectors; the growing presence of China, the close relationship between India and leading economies including the US, the rising opportunity for India to achieve a higher share of the global market share as a leading manufacturer and reliable supplier; a revaluation of the legislative process, particularly for new firms aiming to expand into the Indian market, Developing the world’s largest talent pool, developing the roadmap in the areas of healthcare, agriculture, and financial inclusion in the rural sector; Create digital healthcare solutions for efficient last-mile access, deepen financial inclusion and risk management in underserved sectors and regions.
