The first Graphics driver for Intel’s Rocket Lake CPU is finally here

Intel has finally released the first official graphics drivers for its Rocket Lake CPUs, which features its Iris Xe integrated graphics unit. The company earlier launched its CPUs, but the cards came without the graphics drivers, and it took a while, but we now have the first official graphics drivers.

The driver, which is the 27.20.100.9316, is 426 MB in size, but the more interesting part is that the date it is listed for is 3rd March 2021. It suggests that the company added support for the Rocket Lake CPUs on its existing driver suite, considering that all Iris Xe chips are essentially based on the same Xe-LP GPU architecture.

So, dump those third-party drivers which you have been using and give your system a clean install using the official drivers from Intel.
