OnePlus has just launched its new OnePlus 9 series. This series consists of the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and the OnePlus 9R. This article talks about the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro smartphones.
OnePlus 9 5G
OnePlus 9 flaunts a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and comes with a high 120 Hz refresh rate. This is much better than the 90Hz refresh rate offered by the OnePlus 8. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 mobile processor. It comes with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
OnePlus 9 runs on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box. It draws energy from a 4500mAh battery which is paired with Warp Charge 65T fast charging. Connectivity options for OnePlus 9 include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
In terms of optics, the new handset houses a triple rear camera setup. This module includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.

OnePlus 9 Pro 5G
OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 have a lot of similarities. It also runs on OxygenOS 11, based on Android 11 and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone sports a longer 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO display. It is also powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC and has 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
