Star Sports to broadcast IPL 2021 in 8 different languages

Star Sports is ready to broadcast the Indian Premier League in 8 different languages. The official broadcaster of IPL is preparing to produce a Multi-lingual feed for their viewers in the upcoming season.

According to a report by InsideSport.co, fans can watch the games in their favourite language as Star Sports will broadcast all the games in 24 to 25 Disney Star channels. Besides that, all the matches will be streaming live in Disney+ Hotstar.

Other than English and Hindi, IPL will be telecasted in 6 regional languages. Those are Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Marathi.

Channels for the regional channel broadcast:

Bengali: Star Sports Bangla in week days and Jalsha Movies SD and HD on Sundays.

Tamil: Star Sports Tamil in week days and Vijay Super SD on Sundays.

Telegu: Star Sports Telegu in week days and Maa Movies SD and HD on Sundays.

Kannada: Star Sports Kannada on weekdays and Star Suvarna SD and HD on Sundays.

Marathi: Star Pravah SD and HD on Sundays.

Malayalam: Asianet Plus SD on Sundays.

However, the viewers can watch live streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in five languages – English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil and will be exclusively available to subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar VIP (Rs 399 for 12 months) and Disney+ Hotstar Premium (Rs 1499 for 12 months).
