OnePlus 9R 5G and OnePlus Watch first look is here

OnePlus 9 series is scheduled for 23rd March globally including India. Apart from the smartphones, the company has also confirmed to launch a new smartwatch, the first of its kind from the brand itself. This smartwatch has two functional buttons on the right side of the circular dial. The company has already teased the smartwatch from different angles and we already know how it will look like as Unbox Therapy has already revealed the first look of the watch.

Previously we knew that OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro were the only devices that will be introduced in the upcoming launch but a recent render reveals that the series will also include another smartphone dubbed OnePlus 9R. We are not sure bout this addition but it will be an inferior version of the OnePlus 9 5G.

It has been informed that the OnePlus watch will be launched with a 46mm dial size. The smartwatch will be available in two color options, one is Silver and another is Black. It is expected that the OnePlus Watch will be featured with an IP68 that has the rating for dust and also with water resistance facilities.

OnePlus smartwatch will offer automatic detection of workout, there will be a mode of swimming, track the sleeping hours, monitoring heart rate, tracking stress level, and also a SpO2 sensor. It is also expected that the watch will have multiple activity tracking modes.

One can also use the watch like a with double up like a remote control only for the OnePlus TVs and also featuring with 4GB onboard storage facility. Most importantly, the watch will be revealed with a Warp Charge technology system that can provide a week-long battery service in just charging with 20 minutes.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that 9R will be a part of this series which is launching in the next five days. The new smartphone was earlier suggested to be named OnePlus 9 Lite but now it has been confirmed to be called 9R. This upcoming smartphone is said to be powered by an older chipset by Qualcomm, namely, Snapdragon 865 SoC.
