Wccftech had reported in early 2021 that an extended edition of Death Stranding is coming very soon for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Though Sony or Kojima Productions, no one has confirmed officially, this version is rumored to contain a new story as well. Navtra, a reputable ResetEra insider informed this in January 2021.

Till now, we all are waiting for the announcement from Sony and Kojima about this extended PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. This mentioned rumor is making its own way on the internet, many were expected it to be announced during the PlayStation State of Play broadcast in the last week. The same thing applies to the rumored Life is Strange installment, which could be titled Life is Strange: True Colors.

Navtra wrote on ResetEra forums when asked about it, “Who knows? It has been ready and done for a while now, though. Genuinely expected it to be revealed today. Same goes for LiS: True Colors.”

“I’d give it one more month maybe.”

For now, take all this information as a pinch of salt. Regarding PlayStation-related information, in the past, Navtra has proven to be a reliable source. Death Stranding was launched in 2019 for PlayStation 4. Hideo Kojima’s this game was released for PC also.
