As per reports, OnePlus is going to launch its long-waited OnePlus 9 series in March. Apart from that flagship series, OnePlus will also launch a smartwatch this month. As of now, the launch date has not confirmed, but it expected to be something around the third week of March.
We’ve got a lot of rumors regarding the OnePlus 9 series, saying that there will be a total of three smartphones in this series: OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and a lighter version of the OnePlus 9. Some tipsters are claiming that the OnePlus 9 series will also launch in India around the 3rd and 4th week of this month, expected by 25th March.
As per earlier reports, the retail name was rumored as OnePlus 9E or OnePlus 9 Lite. But as of now, it is almost confirmed that the retail name of the lighter version is going to be the OnePlus 9R. Apart from it, the OnePlus Watch is also going to be launched in the same launch event as the OnePlus 9 series.
In terms of specifications, the OnePlus 9R is rumored to have a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a faster refresh rate of 90Hz and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will be a 64MP primary camera module on its back and it will be fueled up by a 5,000mAH battery supported by 30W of fast charging support. Any report regarding its pricing hasn’t been popped out yet, but it is expected to be the most affordable smartphone in this OnePlus 9 series, probably under Rs. 40,000.
Next is the OnePlus Watch and the excitement level is pretty high about it as it will be the company’s first-ever smartwatch. As reports have come out, it will have a circular dial. On the other hand, it is rumored that this watch could resemble the Oppo Watch RX. But as of now, everything is a rumor and the mystery will be disclosed in March.
Regarding the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, both of them are going to have some real powerful specifications, such as powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 120Hz QHD+ display, Hasselblad-branded camera modules, 65W fast charging, and many more.
