Nubia Red Magic 6 to launch on March 4, has recently visited TENAA

Nubia is all set to launch its upcoming gaming smartphone, Red Magic 6. Although, the company has not revealed the actual launch date it has been tipped that the Red Magic 6 will arrive in the market on March 4 this year. As of now, we’ve come to know some of its specifications, and those stand with some extraordinary features. So, without wasting much time, let’s check out what we can expect from Nubia’s upcoming gaming phone.

If we consider the predecessors of Red Magic 6, we can see that a higher refresh rate has always been a major thing in those phones. Starting with 90Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz for Red Magic 5S the numbers have been increasing literally. So, it is expected that the upcoming Red Magic 6 could be blessed with a higher refresh rate of 165Hz. On the other hand, another tipster has claimed that this phone will have a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. As of now, any of those is not confirmed by the company.

A gaming phone must have a powerful processor for high-end gaming. Reports have come out, saying that the Red Magic will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core chipset.

Being a gaming phone, battery backup is another important thing to look out for. The Red Magic 6 could have two models, one vanilla and one pro. The vanilla one is expected to have a support of 66W fast charging and the Pro one will be charged by a 120W fast charging (4,500mAH battery) which is something really massive. Ni Fei. CEO of Nubia has revealed that this phone will come with an in-box charger and with the 120W fast charging it will charge 0% to 50% in just 5 minutes. He also explained how the safety of the battery is prioritized because of the heat generated by that 120W fast charger.

Apart from it, the company also gave a detailed look at the cooling feature of this phone occurs. It has an air duct in which a 20,000rpm active fan is there to suck the air. Behind the motherboard, there is a large copper foil, covering the battery, while a vapor chamber (the world’s thinnest at 0.33mm, Nubia claims). For more, there is a graphite layer as well to disperse heat away from the chipset. Nubia claims that you can enjoy non-stop two hours of high-end gaming without getting the device hot.
