Top 5 Uncapped players who attracted big bids in the IPL 2021 Auction

After a long wait, the IPL Auction finally took place today. The teams were ready to splash the cash to get their men.

Some uncapped players have made the mark in IPL auction today. Here is the list of those players who attracted big bids.

1. KRISHNAPPA GOWTHAM

Current Team: Chennai Super Kings

The 32-year-old all-rounder from Karnataka is not new in IPL. He has already played for multiple teams in the league. Last season he played for King XI Punjab who released him recently.

The off-spinner is excellent with the ball in his hand. He has 1045 runs and 166 wickets with one century from 42 First-Class games.  He will be playing for Chennai Super Kings this season.

2. SHAHRUKH KHAN

Current Team: Punjab Kings

Style: Spinner All-rounder

The 25-year-old all-rounder from Tamil Nadu earned a reputation of being smart finisher with his big-hitting ability. He played a key role in his side winning the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy this year. Last year he was unsold in IPL. But his performance in first-class cricket this season made the door open for IPL this season.

3. CHETAN SAKARIYA

Current Team: Rajasthan Royals

Style: Left-arm pacer

The 22-year-old pacer Saurashtra pacer has emerged from Bhavnagar district. He made his mark at the Cooch Behar Trophy. After that, he trained at MRF Pace academy under Australian legend Glenn McGrath. He is now ready to make his mark in IPL 2021.

4. MOHHAMED AZHARUDDEEN

Style: Wicket-keeper batsman

Another batsman who caught his eye in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy this year. The Kerala batsmen has scored a 37 balls century against Mumbai. He has an average of 25.91 in 22 First Class games and 22.25 in 24 List A matches.

5. ARJUN TENDULKAR

Current Team: Mumbai Indians

Style: Left-arm pacer All-rounder

The son of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar also got the chance to play for his home team Mumbai Indian. The all-rounder has played two T-20 for Mumbai this season. He picked up two wickets with a best of 1 for 33.
