The Chinese tech giant Oppo has launched its A55 5G smartphone in China. According to the company, this phone is a budget-friendly device with a lot of great and attractive features. So, let’s check out all the features of this newly launched Oppo handset.
Specifications of Oppo A55 5G
The Oppo A55 has a 6.5-inches IPS LCD waterdrop notch display with (1600×720)p pf screen resolution. The display also offers a pretty good refresh rate of 60Hz and also 60Hz of the sampling rate. Apart from these, the display of this phone also features a 71% NTSC color gamut, 269 PPI, have a ratio of 1500:1, and 480 nits of peak brightness.
Let’s enlighten the camera portion. The Oppo A55 has a triple rear camera, which includes a 13 MP main sensor, along with a 2MP macro shooter, and another 2MP sensor for portrait short. On the front side, this phone features a teardrop notch on the display to hold an 8MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, the Oppo A55 comes with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. The device runs on ColorOS 11.1based on Android 11. The SoC of this phone is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage configuration, but users can expand the internal storage up to 1TB through a MicroSD card. The phone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery backup which will be supported by 10W fast charging.
Regarding the connectivity options, the Oppo A55 will be supported by a 5G network, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS (BeiDou, GALILEO, QZSS, GLONASS), a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a USB Type C port. The onboard sensor of this phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, compass, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and gyroscope.
The company offers two colour options for this handset:- Brisk Blue and Rhythm Black. In terms of dimension, the Oppo A55 measures (163.9×75.7×8.4)mm and weighs 186 Gram.
Price and Availability
The phone arrives in China with a price tag of 1,599 Yuan ($247) and is currently up for pre-orders. Now the phone will be available in the home market, but it is expected that in the coming days the Oppo A55 will launch in the Global market.
