As we all know Motorola is launching the Edge S 5G with the sub-flagship Snapdragon 870 processor. The company has been teasing some features of the device as the launch is nearing. The launch has been scheduled for 26th January in China.
The company has recently shared a promotional image where the “Cutting Edge” word is prominent. The company is indicating that the phone will have a large battery and a faster-charging facility. From this image nothing much can be decoded, but we can expect a 5,000mAh battery capacity on this phone as well as some edge-to-edge display.
We have already seen some live images of the phone and are already familiar with the design of the phone. The phone has also appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark spec sheet and the scores have also been shared by company officials.
The overall score to be around 679,860. If we look at the GPU score, it is around 290,268 points whereas a typical gaming smartphone like iQOO 7 with Snapdragon 888 scores around 314,968. The Edge S scores 189,694, 103,322, 96,576 in CPU, Memory, and UX categories respectively.
