Marcus Rashford is set to equal Wayne Rooney’s record today against Fulham. The Red Devils will take on Fulham at their home.

Wayne Rooney has retired as a player recently and now started his managerial career with Derby County. Former Manchester United captain has a long-standing record of scoring in three consecutive matches in the country’s capital has not been beaten in nearly seven-years (November 2014). Marcus Rashford can break the record tonight.

The Manchester United forward is having a great season. He has already scored 14 times in 29 appearances in all competitions.

Manchester United are in the title race this season. They are now second in the table after Leicester City beat Chelsea last night by 2-0. Marcus Rashford wants to pull Manchester United on the top spot again. If he can score against Fulham today, then it will be his 3rd consecutive goal in his trip to London and he can equal the record of Manchester United legend.

Rashford’s last two outings to London was against Crystal Palace and West Ham United. Rashford has scored on both occasions.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to get back to the top spot again. So it is expected that he will name a strong line-up for his side’s domestic clash against Fulham with Rashford expected to feature.
