After a few teasers, Realme has finally launched the Realme V15 5G smartphone in its home country. This 5G smartphone stands for its affordable price tag with some extra-ordinary features. However, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hinted recently through its certification that this Realme V15 could make its global launch very soon, which means, there are not many days left for the Indian market to welcome this device.
Today, a model number RMX3092 (Realme V15) has been appeared on the BIS certification website and the listing shows that the V15 could be another series after the Realme X7 which will be powered by the Dimensity chipset in the Indian market. Another mysterious Realme smartphone has been popped up on the BIS website with the model number RMX3201 as you can see in the shared screenshot, saying that it runs on Android 10 OS and supported by 10W of charging.
The Realme V15 5G smartphone runs on the Android 10 OS and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, a budget 5G SoC. Being an AMOLED panel, this phone features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The SoC of this phone is paired with 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage (non-expandable). Coming to the camera section, the Realme V15 offers a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup (very similar look to the Oppo Reno series) that includes a 64MP primary sensor with a wide-angle (80.7°) lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle (119°) lens, and a 2MP macro (4cm) sensor. For selfies, this phone offers a 16MP selfie camera at the front. The rear panel of this device looks pretty well-designed as it includes the Realme branding and the brand’s slogan – DARE TO LEAP (only on the Koi version).
The Realme V15 5G is fueled up by a 4,310mAh battery with the support of a massive 50W of fast charging. Interestingly, this phone carries a 65W charging adapter in its retail box along with a USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter as it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Regarding the sensors and connectivity, this phone has the support of all the sensors with 5G (SA/NSA), dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, GALILEO, QZSS), dual nano-SIM card slot, dual-mic, single bottom-firing speaker (Hi-Res Audio certified), and USB Type-C port.
Regarding the dimension of this phone, it measures 160.9 x 74.4 x 8.3mm and weighs around 179g (the other two versions measure 160.9 x 74.4 x 8.1mm and weigh 176g). This product is available in three different color variants: Koi Mirror, Lake Blue, and Crescent Silver.
