Global version of Lenovo K12 will be a rebranded Moto E7

Last week, Lenovo has launched its K12 series smartphones in China, which includes- Lenovo K12 and K12 Pro. Now the company is planning to launch the Lenovo K12 model globally. Before the global launch, we have got some renders of the Lenovo K12 global version, which reveals that this phone will be a rebrand of the Moto E7, whereas the Chinese K12 is a rebrand of Moto E7 Plus.

The design of the global version of Lenovo K12 reveals that the company is going to rebrand the Moto E7 phone that was launched last month. It means that the global variant of Lenovo K12 will essentially be launched as a Moto E7 in select markets.

According to the renders, the global version of Lenovo K12 will be a rebrand of Moto E7, so we can already assume the specifications of this phone. Let’s check out the specifications of the Lenovo K12 global version.

Global version of Lenovo K12’s specifications

The Lenovo K12 global variant will sport a 6.5-inches IPS LCD display with (1600×720) pixels of screen resolution. The screen of this phone also features a 20:9 aspect ratio. Regarding the design, the thick bezel around the screen is expected.

Regarding the processor, the Lenovo K12 Global version will have MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and runs on Android 10. The SoC of this phone will be equipped with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage configuration. Users can expand the storage up to 512GB via MicroSD Card. The phone houses a decent battery backup of 4,000mAh battery with 10W of charging speed. The phone also has a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

Coming to the optic section, the phone comes with a dual rear camera setup, including- a 48MP of a primary shooter with an f/1.7 aperture ratio, alongside a 2MP lens for taking macro shorts. The dual rear cameras are aligned with an LED flash On the front side, the phone will have a waterdrop shaped cutout to hold a 5MP front camera for taking selfies and video calls.

Regarding the other specifications, the phone gets a USB Type C charging port. The other connectivity options include- Google Assistant button, an audio jack, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0. The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
