Oppo Reno5 Pro+ spotted on TENAA website clears some rumored specifications

According to a recent report, Oppo is expected to launch the top model of its Reno5 series: Oppo Reno5 Pro+ 5G smartphone on the 24th of December. This phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 865G chipset. Unsurprisingly, this upcoming phone has been spotted on the Chinese TENAA website revealing some key specifications of this upcoming device, includes model number, processor, storage, and more. Let’s check out the features of this upcoming 5G device.

The Chinese TENAA website reveals that the Oppo Reno5 Pro+ carries a model number of PDRM00. The CPU of this phone is listed as 2.8GHz, looking at the CPU clock speed it is expected that the phone will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC. The company offers two storage options for this model: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256 GB. The phone will run on Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS11 on Top.

The Oppo Reno5 Pro+ will sport a 6.55-inches Full HD+ Super AMOLED punch-hole display. The display of this phone will also feature (1080×2400) pixel of screen resolution with a 90Hz of refresh rate. The phone will have curved edges. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures (159.9×72.5×7.99)mm and the weight should come out to 184 grams. This upcoming phone could be the first Oppo phone to come with colour shifting electrochromic back.

Come to the camera section. The upcoming Oppo Reno5 Pro+ will have a quad rear camera module, which includes- a 50MP primary sensor with a Sony IMX766 lens, along with a 16 MP ultra-wide lens, a 13 MP telephoto sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, there will be a punch-hole cutout at the left corner of the screen to hold a 32 MP selfie shooter.

The phone comes with a dual battery cell. The TENAA datasheet has confirmed only one cell with 2,200 mAh. But the rumors claimed that the phone will have a total of 4,400 mAh battery life which will be supported by 65W VOOC fast charging technology.

The phone comes with two colour options: Black and silver. Apart from this information, we haven’t got any other information about this upcoming device. We have to wait till the launching of this phone on 24th December.
