Vivo S7e 5G arrives with Dimensity 720G processor and triple rear camera

Vivo has launched a new smartphone in its domestic market, Vivo S7e 5G. Last month Vivo had launched Vivo Y73 5G which has similar features to this newly launched phone. But the Vivo Y73 has 48MP primary lens whereas the Vivo S7e comes with a 64MP main shooter.

The company offers three colour options for this smartphone- Mirror Black, Phantom Blue, and Silver Moon. The Vivo S7e 5G comes with a lot of good features like Dimensity 720 Chipset, triple rear camera setup, huge battery backup, and many more. So let’s check out the specifications of this new device.

The Vivo S7e sports a 6.44-inches OLED teardrop notch display with Full HD+ (1080×2400)pixels of screen resolution. The display of this phone also features a pixel density of 408ppi and an aspect ratio of 20:9. This phone also comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimension, this phone measures (161×74.04×7.73)mm and weighs 171 grams.

This newly launched smartphone is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, that features 2 cores and 6 cores clocked at 2GHz. The phone runs FinTouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10. The SoC of this phone is equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage configuration.

Let’s enlighten the camera section. The Vivo S7e 5G has a triple rear back camera setup, which includes- a 64 MP main sensor with an f/1.89 lens, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide snapper with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The rear camera has autofocus. On the front side of this phone, there is a teardrop notch on the display to help a 32MP of front camera with an f/2.0 lens for selfies and video call purpose.

This phone houses with a decent battery backup of 4,100 mAh which will be supported by 33W of fast charging technology.

The Vivo S7e has dual-SIM(Nano) slots which are supported by 5G network connectivity. Other connectivity options include- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, USD Type-C for charging. Onboard sensors of this phone include- ambient light sensor, compass/magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor.

The Vivo S7e 5G has launched in China on 4th November, but the company did not reveal anything about the cost of this phone- the price will be revealed on 11th November. It is expected that the company will launch this phone in India in the first half of 2021(expected in February).
