Micromax was one of the most popular smartphone brands in Indian. Not only that, it was the number one Indian smartphone brand here and the world’s 10th largest too. But, after the entry of Chinese brands, the impact comes down to nearly zero. Currently, we, Indians just aware of the name, not with any of its products.

After the Indi-China border dispute, the company gets a massive shake from its former fans and the Indian Government. It seems Micromax is preparing to bounce back in the Indian smartphone market again and has even got a green signal from the Indian government on the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” program and the PLI scheme for smartphone manufacturing in India.

The co-founder of Micromax, Rahul Sharma, streamed a video around an hour ago and declared their comeback with a new lineup ‘IN‘. He also shared his life store, how Micromax was started, and obviously how his team charged up again.

What we can expect:

  • Clean UI (no ads, no bloatware)
  • Smartphones above INR 7,000 for now
  • Great performance, suitable for gaming too
  • Value for money products
  • Probable launch in November

  1. After such a long time, micromax has now actually shown himself but can it really make a comeback? I was sure until I read a case study that says the strategy of Microsoft is still old and it may not work nowadays.
