Vivo V20 launched in India with SD720G, AMOLED display, 64MP camera at INR 24,990

Recently, Vivo has launched its V20 smartphone in India. Making the similarity with the older ones from Vivo, this phone is also famous for its camera module. So, let’s go and check out what are the specifications this phone is offering to its users.

The V20 runs on the Android 11 OS and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display (60Hz of refresh rate). The Vivo V20 features an in-display fingerprint scanner. This phone is available in three different color variants: sunset melody, midnight jazz, and moonlight sonata.

The Snapdragon 720G SoC is paired with a single RAM and two different storage variants: 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The RAM type is LPDDR4X. The storage is further expandable via an external microSD card as this phone holds a dedicated 3 card slot. This phone has a glass back rear panel.

In terms of camera, the Vivo V20 comes with a triple rear camera setup which includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide super macro sensor, and a 2MP Monochromatic sensor. For the selfies, this phone offers a 44MP Eye auto-focus sensing selfie shooter at the front, inside the waterdrop notch. This Eye auto-focus technology is the main highlight of this phone and the Vivo V20 is the first-ever smartphone to feature this technology. You can record 4K videos via both the rear and selfie camera.

Regarding the battery, this phone is fueled by a massive 4,000mAH battery with the support of 33W fast USB-C charging. Apart from it, this phone has every other connectivity options, like a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C port for charging. Regarding the size, this phone is quite slim having a thickness of only 7.38mm and it weighs around 171 grams.

Coming to the pricing and availability, this Vivo V20 carries a price tag of Rs. 24,990 for the base 8GB + 128GB storage variant, while the 256GB storage option is priced at Rs. 27,990. Availability is not confirmed by the company yet.
