Simply NUC Aspen ditches Intel and adopts AMD for its latest Mini-PCs

Mini PCs have been a go-to approach for many professionals as they offer portability and functionality. However, some might argue that notebooks are the best choice for portability seekers. But the Mini PCs have been an advantageous creation for those looking for a desktop-grade system that is not heavy on their wallets.

The likes of Asus currently dominate the Mini PC market, we often don’t see any new competitor trying its luck in the market. But things are changing in the current world brought forth by the pandemic, with the tech industry moving for radical changes and semiconductor wars booming. It seems every tech industry is on the rise to claim itself a piece of the pie.

The PC component manufacturer Simply NUC is offering its new Mini PCs, which will be powered by AMD Ryzen processors. The company is trying something new by ditching intel and adopting AMD’s desktop-grade CPUs for its new Mini PC series.

The company offers AMD’s Renoir architecture and provides four APUs that range from Ryzen 3 4300U to the new Ryzen 7 4800U.

The new Mini PC is, however, quite similar to ASUS PN50 in terms of looks, but the company is offering various customization options to its new device. Simply NUC has also promised to deliver the latest drivers and firmware for its new entry.

All the models will have 4 GB DDR4 RAM along with 128 BG M.2 SATA storage SSD. The devices will support up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB of NVMe SSD storage capacity.
