Motorola Razr 5G Foldable Phone launched in India: Price and Specifications

Finally, Motorola has launched its latest foldable smartphone in India, dubbed as the Motorola Razr 5G. This phone is the successor of the Motorola Razr. This smartphone comes with the nostalgia of using foldable keypad smartphones earlier. So without wasting any time, let’s just get into the specification section of this newly launched smartphone.

The dual-SIM (Nano+eSIM) Motorola Razr 5G runs on Android 10 OS with My UX on top and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC chipset. Regarding the display, this phone features a foldable 6.2-inch plastic OLED display with a resolution of 876×2,142 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9. Not only this but also this phone has another secondary, 2.7-inch OLED display placed on top of the flip panel — with 600×800 pixels resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. This phone comes in a single color variant: Polish Graphite.

The SD 765G SoC is coupled with Adreno 620 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, storage is not further expandable. Coming to the camera section, this phone comes with a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor with an f/1.7 lens. This single-camera module also features optical image stabilization (OIS) and laser autofocus technology. This phone also offers a 20-megapixel secondary camera sensor that is placed above the foldable display and comes with an f/2.2 lens. The primary camera sensor of this phone also doubles it as a selfie camera when the Razr 5G is folded. Group Selfie, Portrait Mode, Spot Color, and many other modes are there too.

Coming to the battery, the Motorola Razr 5G is fueled by a 2,800mAH battery with the support of 15W TurboPower fast charging. In terms of connectivity and sensor, everything is there, such as 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, accelerometer, ambient light, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The fingerprint sensor of this phone is embedded at the front.

According to the company, this foldable phone can withstand up to 200,000 flips. Moreover, it comes with a water-repellent coating and is designed with a one-handed experience. regarding the size, this phone has a dimension of 169.2mm x 72.6mm x 7.9mm (open) and 91.7mm x 72.6mm x 16mm (folded) and it weighs around 192 grams. This phone flaunts a metal and glass body made of a 3D formed glass.

At last, coming to the pricing and availability of this phone. The Motorola Razr 5G (8GB/256GB) carries a price tag of Rs. 1,24,999 in India and the sale is scheduled for October 12 through all leading retail stores and Flipkart (pre-booking starts from today). Other than the Indian version, the Motorola Razr 5G was launched in September globally with a price tag of $1,399.99 (roughly Rs. 1,02,600).
