Realme 7i will arrive in India on 7th October

In a previous article, we claimed that Realme is planning to launch Realme 7i in India in the month of October, now unsurprisingly, we have got a news that Realme is hosting a couple of big events next week on 7th October. On that day Realme 7 series will be launched in Europe, alongside Realme 7i and some accessories like Buds Air Pro and Buds Wireless Pro earphones will also be launched in India.

Realme 7i is an affordable device that features a lot of great specifications. Let’s check out what are the specifications this phone will bring to us.

Regarding the display, this phone will feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display (HD+ resolution), with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Regarding the colour variants, this phone comes in Polar Blue and Aurora Green colours.

The Realme 7i will run on Android 10 OS and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor (clubbed with Adreno 610 GPU). The SoC will be equipped with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage can be further expanded via an external microSD card. Regarding the battery, this phone houses a huge battery back up of 5,000mAH with the support of 18W fast charging.

Coming to the camera section, the Realme 7i features a rectangular-shaped quad rear camera setup at the top left corner of the panel, which includes a 64MP (f/1.8) primary camera, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV, 2MP (f/2.4) B&W portrait sensor, and 2MP (f/2.4) macro shooter, along with an LED flash. For the selfies, this phone offers a 16MP selfie snapper under the punch-hole cutout design.

Coming to the pricing and availability, the company has launched the Realme 7i in Indonesia for RP 3,099,00 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant but now Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth has tweeted that the Realme 7i will be launched in India on 7th October. There is no confirmation on the pricing of this phone, but we can expect that in India, this phone will carry a price tag of around INR 15,000.
