Gionee S12 Lite will arrive with the triple rear camera on 5th October

After a long interval, Gionee is relaunching its smartphones. Previously, the Gionee S series smartphones were prevalent. Now, the good news is coming out from Gionee, as they declared that they would add a new handset into its S series. It will have a trading name of Gionee S12 Lite.

According to the official report, this upcoming S12 Lite will be launched in Nigeria on 5th October. We don’t know about its pricing but it is expected that this phone will carry an affordable price. Let’s check out the specifications of this upcoming phone.

The Gionee S12 Lite sports a 6.52″ IPS LED tear-drop notch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display will also feature (720×1600)pixels of resolution.

This phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio A25 chipset that houses eight Cortex-A53 cores at 1.8GHz plus a PowerVR GE 8320 GPU at 600MHz. The SoC of this phone will be equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The internal storage will be expanded through a MicroSD card.

The phone packs a triple rear back camera setup, including – 13MP main sensor alongside a 5MP ultra-wide sensor with fixed focal length, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, the phone has a tear-drop notch on the display to hold an 8MP of front camera for selfie and video call purpose. The front and rear cameras will be supported by 1080p at 30fps video recording.

The phone will have a decent battery backup of 4,000mA and will have a Dual-SIM slot which will be supported by the 4G network. The other connectivity options include – 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 4.2, and a micro USB port for charging. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor

The company offers two color variants for this phone – Blue and Gray.
