LG launches its 34GP83-A UltraGear gaming monitor with 144Hz refresh rate

The gaming industry has become more profitable in this COVID pandemic era. With more people bending towards digital gaming, it has become an unsaid rule to have a powerful rig to enjoy an immersive and unforgettable gaming experience.

LG launched its new gaming monitor under its UltraGear series. The new 34GP83-A comes with a curved Nano IPS panel with fast response time. It has G-Sync compatibility and also a high refresh rate of 144Hz.

The curved Nano IPS panel has a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and a G2G response time of 1ms. The display has a contrast ration 1000:1 and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut. It comes color calibrated out-of-the-box.

To deliver an immersive gaming experience, the company has provided Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync that allow games to run without stutter and tearing.

The LG 34PG83-A UltraGear monitor is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 400. This means that the monitor can playback HDR content for an enhanced viewing experience.

The device comes with Dynamic Action Sync, which reduces input lag, a Black Stabilizer to improve clarity in darker areas, and a crosshair that is said to elevate aiming in the game. The gaming monitors feature Reader mode and flicker-free technology reduces the user’s eye strain.

The Monitor comes with many connectivity options, including 2x HDMI ports, a Display Port, a 3.5mm jack, a USB upstream port, and 2x USB downstream ports.
