Technology is improving day by day so as the modern age smartphone. From a single rear camera to the quad rear camera setup we’ve come a long way. Not only the case of the rear camera but also for selfie cameras we’ve come a long way too. Starting from those mounted selfie camera, then comes the waterdrop notch, punch hole, dual-punch hole now we’re using. The main thinking behind the improvements of the selfie camera is that most of the screen will be visible to the user.
Nowadays after the punch-hole selfie camera, another technology is in the making, which is the under-display selfie camera. In this case, anybody can not see the camera as it’ll be under the main display. When the user will on the selfie camera, it will be automatically on from under the display. By this, the user can enjoy the absolutely full-screen display without any kind of disruption by any selfie notch.
The first smartphone manufacturer which brings this technology in the market is ZTE and the device name is ZTE Axon 20. In this phone, we can get the truly under-display selfie shooter. It seems that this will be future technology for all the selfie camera of different smartphone manufacturers.
A couple of days ago, we’ve got another leak from the Twitter handle of renowned tipster Mukul Sharma that Realme is also in working to make an under-display selfie camera smartphone. Actually, there is a leaked image of a Realme phone in which we are unable to locate any selfie camera. That’s why we can assume that Realme is also in line for a truly under-display selfie camera phone. According to some recent reports, Xiaomi is working right now in this technology and from the next year, the company will produce a bunch of smartphones featuring truly under-display selfie cameras. We also hope the OEMs will make improvements in the camera out quality.
