Youngsters in FIFA are without a shadow of a doubt the most exciting part of the game. It’s a very rewarding feeling to capture or grow one of the top young starlets in the game. 

With all that said, we take a look at some of the best young players under 21 who have been rewarded with a superb rating in the latest edition of the FIFA franchise. 

1. Kylian Mbappe

2. Trent Alexander-Arnold

5. Kai Havertz

The most expensive signing in the history of the Blues, Kai Havertz is one of the most exciting young talents in the world. His quality and offensive output easily justify his status and his rating in FIFA. Expect big things from the German in England. 

6. Gigi Donnarumma

Age: 21

The only goalkeeper in the list, Donnarumma is unbelievably good for his young age. The man is the first choice goalie for his national team and is also the captain of his club.

7. Erling Haaland

Team: Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga)

Age: 20

He’s been tearing up defences all throughout the 19/20 season, and his transfer to Dortmund can only make things better. Erling Haaland is one of the most clinical finishers of his age and will certainly be in-demand for every career mode team. 

8. Martin Odegaard

Team: Real Madrid (La Liga)

Age: 21

He has impressed in his loan spell at Sociedad and finally looks set to break into the Real Madrid first team. Martin Odegaard has been in brilliant form all of last season and has been rewarded with an 83 rating in FIFA 21, among the ten best youngsters under 22. 

9. Achraf Hakimi

Team: Inter (Serie A)

Age: 21

Hakimi was one of Dortmund’s best players during his two-year loan spell with the Bundesliga club. An exciting young wing-back under a world-class coach that uses them amazingly can only show an upward slope in his performances. 

10. Alphonso Davies 

Team: Bayern Munich (Bundesliga)

Country: Canada

Position: LB

Overall: 81

Age: 19

Alphonso Davies has been impressive throughout the 19/20 campaign. So impressive, that he has managed to put David Alaba’s starting position in dire jeopardy. Lifting the Champions League trophy last season, he is set to be one of the best full-backs in the world given his current form. 

That concludes the list of the top 10 best young footballers in FIFA 21. While there could be a lot more contenders for a place in the top 10 it is hard to argue with the names that are already on there.
