Apple Watch Series 6 launched, starts at $399

Finally, Apple launches its much anticipated next-gen Apple Watch for its enthusiastic customers. Its already the best-selling fitness watch in the world and Apple is taking this even further, coupled with the new watchOS 7, one can easily stay fit and healthy.

One of the key new features added with Watch Series 6 is the new spO2 sensor. The new sensor helps to detect the blood oxygen level in realtime with almost accurate results via a new infrared sensor baked into the Apple Watch and this automatically uploads results to the Fitness app.

Apple has stressed on the fact that it will try to make it’s Apple Watch Series 6 more useful in this pandemic by implementing useful algorithms. It will collaborate with various research centers to predict any respiratory issues and give advanced alerts.

As predicted, Apple has upgraded its Silicon powering the Apple Watch and so one can expect better performance than last-gen. The new Apple Watch Series 6 will be powered by a new Apple S6 chip that is made from the same Silicon used in the Apple A13 Bionic, so naturally a healthy upgrade over Series 5.

The screen is said to be even brighter than before while using outdoors with an always-on retina display. Also, there’s an always-on altimeter for using the Apple Watch outdoors and track what are you doing.

Apple has brought a variety of watch faces with the new Watch Series 6 as well – from Chronographic style to Digital, Apple has a bunch of them for you.

Also you can add your personalized memoji to your Apple Watch and customize them, choose style and do a lot more with your avatar.

Also, Apple has got new personalized watch faces as per your needs, activity, and profession, along with various apps from the developers that can help you customize the watch face.

Now, one of the biggest change what Apple has done with the Apple Watch Series 6 is removing the watch strap and introduce one new Silicone-based Solo loop that is stretchable, durable, swim-proof. So, anyone can select the size and use the Apple Watch Series 6 easily.

Also, there are 7 color options for the new Apple Watch and you can choose from the wide range. As Apple says, this one of their most colorful range ever with a lot of options – from a blue aluminum case to the updated classic gold stainless steel frame, grey stainless steel called graphite, and obviously the new red color. The braided Solo loop will be available in 5 color options.

Not only that you can choose from the various types of band options including Leather Link, Apple Watch Nike with a new Sport band, Analog style watch band.

The new addition to Apple Watch this time is the Family Setup, yes this is a very handy tool for keeping your family together and safe, even if you do not have an iPhone, so parents can easily use this feature to guide their children.

A child can easily use Apple Watch and their parents can control it via their iPhone and see what their child is doing. On the other hand, children can use th Apple Watch to go outdoors track fitness and play with memoji while their parent are watching them all at once. A very handy feature for keeping your family safe even for older members as well to check ECG and other activities requiring just your iPhone only.

Also, the new Watch Series 6 will support 5GHz Wi-Fi, come with the amazing features of watchOS 7 like Sleep tracking, Wind Down, Hand Washing, and other features. The case of the watch is made up of 100% recycled Aluminum and Apple again stressed to make itself 100% carbon-free by 2030.
