Activision’s upcoming first-person shooter video game, Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is going to get an Open Beta release. The company has announced that there will be two Cold War beta “weekends,” and will be available for five days per weekend.

The first beta test weekend will be exclusively for Play Station 4. The users who pre-ordered and are willing to pre-order before the beta weekend will get the opportunity to play the game first before other PS4 owners. After two days other PS4 will get the open beta release. Though some territories will require a PlayStation Plus account.

The second beta test weekend will be an open beta i.e. it will be available for Xbox One, PC, and PS4 and will support cross-play. The idea is the same for Xbox One and PC users as previously it was for PS4 users. This means that Xbox One and PC users who pre-order the game will get early beta access while the other users will get the open beta access after two days. If you make a pre-order on Xbox Series X|S, then you also qualify for this Xbox One early access. Xbox One users will require Xbox Live Gold to play the beta.
