Luis Suarez reportedly agrees on a deal with Juventus

Former Barcelona player Ronald Koeman has been appointed as the new manager in Barcelona to bring back the glorious days of the club. Now, there are heavyweights at the club who have already aged and lack the intensity to play at the club.

The club president, Bartomeu already talked about this and he gave a list of names of the heavyweights who will remain untouchables. Players like Rakitic, Busquets, Vidal, Saurez, Jordi Alba, Umtiti, Pique will have bid farewell this season and it seems Koeman has already informed that to Luis Saurez.

The new Dutch coach has informed Luis Suarez that he does not have him for next season. There have been various reports suggesting that Ajax has made a bid €15m for Luis Suarez although Barcelona value the Uruguayan striker at around €30m. But the point is Barcelona are ready to sell Suarez this summer and trust Griezmann with the main striker’s role.

Now, many reports have come up claiming that Juventus is interested in signing Luis Suarez and pairing him up with Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to a report by GDS (via Republic world), the Turin-based outfit is keen on finding a suitable replacement for outgoing striker Gonzalo Higuain.

In Higuain’s absence, Juventus look to add an experienced personality in the squad to pair up well with Cristiano Ronaldo. Interestingly, the two have never played together but have instead enjoyed a healthy rivalry when Cristiano Ronaldo was with Real Madrid until 2018.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, personal terms have been agreed between Luis Suarez and Juventus in a second meeting, which followed a direct conversation between the player and vice president Pavel Nedved. The Uruguayan striker will earn €10m per year after tax, which is the same he earns at Barcelona.

Juventus targeted AS Roma’s Edin Dzeko but when Suarez was made available in the market the Old Lady was quick enough to react and sign the veteran striker.

Suarez has played 283 games for Barcelona, in which he has scored 198 goals, making him the third-highest scorer in the club’s history, along with 109 assists.

Form pairing up with Lionel Messi, Suarez will now pair up with Ronaldo.
