The Taiwan giant has announced its brand new 2-in-1 laptop in the US, powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 4000U processors to compete with the best-selling Lenovo Flex 5. There’s no doubt that people have gone crazy for these revolutionary AMD processors based on 7nm Zen 2 architecture and wish for more options in the near future.
In India, too Asus has launched the same laptop, and in the US its already available via Amazon, ASUS Store, and Newegg. You’ll get to choose between the Ryzen 5 4500U and Ryzen 7 4700U APU options, rest all the specs remain the same for both the variants. The 2-in-1 laptop features a bold Bespoke Black all-metal chassis with diamond-cut edges, a recessed lid logo, a unique color-blocked Enter key with bright yellow edges and text, and a diamond-cut lip that makes it easy to flip open the lid.
Having a touchscreen allows you to use the ASUS Pen active stylus for dawing, taking notes and all other creative tasks on-the-go. The VivoBook Flip 14 (TM420) is also durable because Asus says they have included a precision-engineered stepless 360° metal hinge that is tested to pass a 20,000-cycle open-and-close test.
Even though having a 14-inch NanoEdge display into a 13-inch-class chassis, with 82% screen-to-body ratio, the laptop packs a very color accurate screen that covers 100% sRGB color reproduction, which is another advantage for those who need good display at a budget. The laptop has a slim 17.5 mm profile and a lightweight all-metal chassis which weighs just 3.09 lb or 1.4 Kg, making it easier to carry anywhere.
The new ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 comes with up to an AMD Ryzen 4700U mobile processor, so whatever you do you’ll get the performance that you deserve, be it for productivity, office usage or even for education.
