The much-hyped OnePlus Nord has been launched globally a few days ago and its global marketing and branding seem to have well-appreciated by people. It has taken a long time for OnePlus to return to a mid-range smartphone, now when every brand is making crappier smartphones with some faults or the other, OnePlus has made it everything right.
Their subtle changes and features show how much attention they have shown towards this new lineup of smartphones. Packing the right set of features and optimizing it with its clean and minimal software experience is what makes it even more special. Obviously, there are two things that have left a game-changing impact – price and 5G support.
Specifications of OnePlus Nord:
OnePlus Nord has a 6.44-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone has a quad rear camera where they got the main sensor from the OnePlus 8, which means the 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor with an f/1.75 lens. The phone will also have an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.25 ultra-wide-angle lens that has a field of view (FoV) of 119 degrees, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 5MP depth shooter – both with an f/2.4 aperture. The Nightscape modes are as vibrant as the OnePlus 8. There are dual-cameras at front housed in a punch hole cut. The setup comprises a 32MP Sony IMX616 primary sensor with an f/2.45 lens and an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.45 ultra-wide-angle lens that has an FoV of 105 degrees.
OnePlus Nord will run on Oxygen OS based on Android 10. As we all know it will feature the Snapdragon 765G processor that also supports 5G connectivity along with Adreno 620 GPU. The phone will come in three different types of storage variants where it will be available up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The phone will be powered by a 4,115mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging.

The $400 price point is a sweet spot for most people these days as mid-range smartphones are getting the job done for most people out there. So, pouncing back right with a mind-blowing campaign and creating a hype among people is another thing OnePlus is a master of, kudos to OnePlus and the Nord has lived up to the expectation.
This is evident as the OnePlus Nord becomes the best selling smartphone on Amazon UK, France, and Germany. Yes, it’s getting even more popular in Europe and this is pre-orders only, so OnePlus should have great future sales as well. In India also it’s coming at Rs. 24,999 and its first sale on 4th August for 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants while for the 6GB + 64GB variant you have to wait a bit longer until September.
