This was Bayern’s 11th straight Bundesliga win, which took them 10 points clear of second-placed Borussia Dortmund who has 3 games left, which means even if Dortmund win all their matches they can’t reach Bayern’s total points.

Bayern Munich has secured their 8th straight Bundesliga title after the win against Werder Bremen. It is their 30th German top-flight title in total.
They remain well on course to win the treble this season. They will face Bayer Leverkusen on 4th July in the German Cup final. Bayern also has a 3-0 first-leg advantage over Chelsea in the Champions League last 16.

Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick, who has won 4 Bundesliga titles as a Bayern player, said: “We have now taken the first step and reached our big goal. But we also have the cup in our sights and then obviously the Champions League games are something you cannot plan for and we still need to survive the Chelsea game.”
Robert Lewandowski has once again shown the world why he is arguably the best striker of the game. He has scored 31 Bundesliga goals this season, equalling Aubameyang’s record of highest league goals in a single season during his time at Borussia Dortmund in 2016-17.
