Xiaomi launched the Mi Power Bank 3 yesterday and this power bank has the largest battery of 30,000mAh and most probably the only power bank in the market to have such a huge battery. There are certain features in this power bank like fast charging and all.

To give an idea how huge the capacity of this power bank is let us assume Redmi 8A (5,000mAh battery), this device can be charged around 4 to 4.5 times. Similarly the Xiaomi Mi 10 (4,780 mAh) 4.5 to 5 times or something smaller like the new iPhone SE (1,821 mAh) over 10 times.

This power bank has two Type-A, one Type-C, and a micro-USB port. Now coming to the charging part the power bank supports up to 24W fast charging input via its Type-C port but the charging is limited to 18W via micro-USB port. If you have the Xiaomi fast charger of 30W then this power bank can be fully charged to 100% within 7.5 hours.

The power bank is also functioned to give an output of 18W, which is considered as fast charging. With this rate though the cent percent battery life can not be used totally. But this charging speed will give a fast charging experience. Moreover, this power bank also has a low-current mode for small gadgets (e.g. smartwatches or Bluetooth earbuds) which have trouble charging from some power banks – this mode can be accessed by tapping the power button twice.

This power bank will be sold on JD.com in China, starting on June 18. The price is CNY 170 ($24/€21). There is no news for its international availability.
