Realme X50m 5G again on sale at just¥2099

Realme had launched the Realme X50 Pro 5G as the first 5G smartphone in India and debuted in China at the beginning of this year. Now in the middle of the year the brand is launching two new versions of the X50 series – Realme X50m 5G and Realme X50 Pro Player. Realme X50 Pro Player is an advanced edition in the series and the X50m 5G is the mid-range version as it packs in the latest mid-range Snapdragon 5G enabled chipset that is necessary for a budget-friendly 5G smartphone.

The smartphone is launched today in China and there is no information about its global launch. The smartphone looks like the regular Realme X50 but is boosted in the feature part. Realme X50m will be offered in two colors – Galaxy White and Starry Blue.

Realme X50 Pro Player features a 6.57-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a dual punch-hole display and a rear shiny plastic body with a quad-camera setup.

The smartphone comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. It is paired with an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.3 ultra-wide-angle lens that has a field-of-view (FoV) of 119 degrees, 2MP tertiary depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2MP quaternary sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. The dual punch hole camera houses a 16MP primary Sony IMX 471 sensor with an f/2.5 lens and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens.

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 765G chipset with 5G connectivity and paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.1 storage. The storage options will be discussed in the pricing section. The phone comes with a 4200mAh battery that supports 30W Dart fast charging technology.

Price and Availability:

The Realme X50m 5G is available at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 21,500) for the 6GB RAM variant, while its 8GB RAM variant is available at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 25,000). The international availability of this device is still not known.
