It’s been few days since we spotted the new ASUS TUF gaming laptop A15 with the new Ryzen 7 4800H and RTX 2060 in the benchmarks, now on Amazon, the Asus TUF Gaming TUF506IU-MS76 has been listed at an incredible price of $1199.
Apart from being listed in China, the same laptop has also appeared ton US retailer Microcenter for just US$1199. Like the previous generation, there will be various options of the laptop with various storage and graphics configuration.

With more gaming processors, we may see more CPU variants also being used by Asus, we can even a more budget-friendly gaming laptop with Ryzen 5 4500H which will be far better in performance and cheaper than Intel counterparts.
It seems there hasn’t been much change in terms of design from the last-gen of the laptop, the TUF506IV-AS76 is likely to be the highest configuration, featuring an RTX 2060 and 16 GB of RAM, alongside a high refresh rate 144 Hz panel and 1 TB SSD. Asus has upgraded to a 90WHr battery which gives nearly double the battery life over previous versions.
Microcenter’s listing indicates that the Ryzen 7 4800H-powered TUF506IU is already available for purchase right now while Amazon has put up for pre-orders and shipping seems to start from March 30th and is at present the cheapest laptop on the market with an RTX 2060.
We already know the incredible performance of the 8-core & 16-threaded Ryzen 7 4800H which is even better than a competing Intel Core i7-9750H laptop. So being cheaper, the Asus TUF Gaming laptops provide a tremendous value-for-money in comparison with Intel-powered gaming laptops.
Its also worth noting that at $1199 you’ll be getting 16GB of RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD along with a 144Hz display and a powerful RTX 2060 that will give best gaming experience at this price point. This configuration is the best compared to any GTX 1650 based Intel-powered gaming laptop at this price range.
