Chelsea have been officially given the status of the dirtiest team in Premier League history.
Some football teams believe in doing the wrong thing if that wins them the match. Tactical fouls are nowadays very popular. Players take yellow cards or even red cards with a smile for their team.
So, now Spreadex have analysed over 1,000 matches since the Premier League’s creation in 1992. They have awarded 10 points for a yellow card and 25 points for a red card to a team.
In that list, Chelsea have come first with a total of 18,360 points and their nearest rival is Everton with 18,245 points.
Let’s take a look at the top 10 dirtiest teams in Premier League history:
- Chelsea – 18,360 points

- Arsenal – 17,885 points
- Tottenham – 16,815 points
