Dell recently updated their Inspiron and Vostro lineup with 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake CPUs. Their premium XPS 13 2-in-1 laptops also have been updated with flagship 10th Gen Ice Lake CPUs.
When Intel demonstrated their Ice Lake CPUs, the Dell XPS 13 was used as a demo earlier. Now when finally the Ice Lake CPUs are made public, the XPS 13 2-in-1 laptops are the first ones to use the CPU underneath. Let’s talk more about the specs of the laptop:
The laptop features a 13.4-inch FHD+ WLED Touch Display with 1920 x 1200 resolution and 16:10 contrast ratio. The flagship model here packs a UHD+ WLED Touch Display with 3840 x 2400 resolution. The XPS 13 2-in-1 laptop has an Edge-to-edge display with narrow bezels and the screen is protected with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5.
This 2-in-1 laptop is made of CNC machined aluminium in platinum silver with carbon fibre composite palm rest in black or with arctic white woven glass fibre palm rest depending on the colour: Platinum Silver, Black interior.
The Dell XPS 13 comes with a full size backlit MagLev keyboard with precision touchpad and has a 360-degree rotatable body as its a 2-in-1 laptop. The XPS 13 is relatively lighter with a weight of just 1.33 kg. Also, it features a Widescreen HD (720p) 2.25mm webcam and Stereo speakers professionally tuned with Waves MaxxAudio® Pro.
Starting from the low-end model with 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i3-1005G1 Processor with 2 cores and 4 threads carrying a hefty price of $999.99. It has 4GB 3733MHz LPDDR4 memory, which is quite fast, paired with 256GB PCIe NVMe x4 Solid State Drive. It features Intel® UHD Graphics and comes pre-included with Windows 10 Home.
The next model comes pre-equipped with 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-1035G1 Processor which features 4 cores and 8 threads, with a boost clock of 3.6GHz. Being coupled with 8GB 3733MHz LPDDR4x Memory and 256GB PCIe NVMe x4 Solid State Drive, you can expect amazing performance from this thin and light laptop.
This one too features Intel® UHD Graphics and comes pre-included with Windows 10 Home and carries a price tag of $1,399.99.
Next laptop is powered by the flagship 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-1065G7 Processor which features 4 cores and 8 threads, with a boost clock of 3.9GHz. coupled with 16GB 3733MHz LPDDR4x Memory and 256GB PCIe NVMe x4 Solid State Drive which costs $1,749.99. The model with 512GB PCIe NVMe x4 Solid State Drive will cost you a hefty $2,099.99.
The i7 models feature Intel’s latest Iris Plus Graphics that is quite powerful than previous generations and helps you do heavy graphical workloads including gaming. And as obvious it comes pre-included with Windows 10 Home.
