Realme X is the upcoming flagship smartphone from Realme. Launching soon in India.

Realme X smartphone was launched on 15th May 2019.
The sixth episode of the #AskMadhav Q&A show is up and it has some good news: the Realme X will launch in India in the second half of this year. The brand’s Indian CEO Madhav Sheth even gave a pretty narrow price range for the phone – INR 18,000 to INR 20,000. That’s slightly higher than the price in China (which works out to INR 15,000).

Realme X comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels at a pixel density of 394 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

The phone is powered by a 2.2 MHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor that features 2 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. It comes with 4GB of RAM. It runs Android 9 Pie and is powered by a 3,765mAh battery. The Realme X supports VOOC fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme X on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a second 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It sports a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Realme X runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage. The Realme X is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.

Connectivity options on the Realme X include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.

The Realme X measures 161.20 x 76.00 x 9.40mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 191.00 grams. It was launched in Steam White and Punk blue colours. It bears a glass body.
