Nubia’s next gaming smartphone the Nubia Red Magic 3 gets launched in China with Snapdragon 855 SoC, 5000mAh battery, 90Hz refresh rate display and 48MP Sony IMX586 cameras

The Chinese mobile manufacturer Nubia paves its way for its new upcoming new gaming smartphone Nubia Red Magic 3 in China. This is a true flagship level gaming smartphone with great specs.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 packs a huge 5,000mAh battery, comes with 90Hz refresh rate display, and the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It will be available in multiple RAM + storage options and the smartphone also supports a 30W fast charging technology.

Nubia even claims to provide up to an hour of gameplay with just 10 minutes of charge. Being a gaming smartphone, cooling has to be solid for smooth gaming experience so, a liquid cooling technology with an internal turbo fan is implemented which increases the effective heat transfer by up to 500 percent.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 sports slight bezels on the top and bottom of the display making the screen look bigger and immersive. The smartphone comes in both Black and Red colour options, and also sports a rear fingerprint sensor. It borrows much similarity to its successor Red Magic Mars.

The smartphone also comes with additional hardware toggles and touch-sensitive shoulder triggers on the sides to create a gaming focused dashboard. It also supports video recording even up to 8K resolution.

This gaming centric smartphone sports dual front-facing stereo speakers with DTS:X, and 3D sound technologies that create a cinematic sound experience. Users can even customize the RGB lighting on the rear end of the smartphone with several effects and over 16.8 million colours with Red Magic’s light effects editor.

Price & Availability

The Nubia Red Magic 3 in China is priced at CNY 2,899 (roughly around Rs.30,000) for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. On the other hand the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 3,199 (roughly around Rs.33,200) and CNY 3,499 (roughly around Rs.36,300) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

The highest 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will cost CNY 4,299 (roughly around Rs.44,600). This gaming smartphone will be available in the region from May 3 onwards on the Nubia official website and JD.com as well. Nubia has even launched a bunch of case covers and gaming accessories alongside the smartphone.
