The Galaxy A8 Star seems to be the global variant of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star that was launched in China back in June.
The Galaxy A8 Star will be available at Rs.34,990 from 27th August exclusively on Amazon. Samsung has given the Galaxy A8 Star a tagline which says “IntelliCam™”, which clearly indicates about the intelligent camera it will have.

Design and Display :
The body of the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is made of 2.5D + 3D Glass for a premium look and at the borders, it has a metal frame design at the sides. The metal frame gives a sturdy protection to the body and the glass design at the back adds a premium look to the device. The phone is sleek and gives a comfortable grip in the hand.
The A8 Star comes with a huge 16cm (6.3″) FHD+ Suoer AMOLED Infinity Display which gives an amazing viewing experience and no limit of doing anything. The bezels are minimized on both the sides and the china and forehead is also made much smaller than previous models.

Cameras and Processor :
Galaxy A8 Star has a dual rear camera setup of 16MP(F1.7) + 24MP(F1.7) and are capable of capturing some stunning photos. They say it the “IntelliCam” which is capable of capturing brilliant photographs by adjusting intelligently in every lighting conditions whether it be day or night. Even the 24MP front camera is also nothing less at capturing excellent selfies with pro lighting and smart beauty modes.
The Star packs in the Snapdragon 660 which can perform better any other 600 series’ chip-set of Qualcomm. Though considering the price on it, Snapdragon 660 isn’t the best chipset Samsung has given on it. Samsung should have given a chipset of at least any Snapdragon’s 700 series. The smartphones in the market at that price range have Snapdragon 845 in them.

Storage and Battery :
Well, it comes with a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is obviously great. Users can also expand the memory up to 512GB. But it’s an optional storage where you can use either a sim or a memory card.
The Star will have a 3700mAh huge battery which can easily power the device for more than a day. Samsung is always best at their battery backup on its devices. It also supports the USB Type C fast charging. So you won’t face any problem while charging it, it will take hardly one and half hours.
